Health and Social Care Quality Assurer / IQA

About the role

The Health and Social Care Quality Assurer (IQA) will lead internal verification of apprenticeship standards up to Level 5. Working from home and in the field, you will support assessors and drive continuous improvement across teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal verification and quality assurance of Health and Social Care apprenticeship standards.
• Develop, plan and execute Quality Improvement Plans to enhance teaching and learning.
• Facilitate regular standardisation meetings and observe classroom sessions.
• Maintain and update sampling plans in line with company and awarding body requirements.
• Ensure learners achieve milestones on time and support the assessor team.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
• Recognised Internal Quality Assurance award (e.g., D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4).
• Minimum 2 years management‑level experience in health and social care.
• Proven experience as an IQA for Health and Social Care Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
