Health & Safety Advisor – 3-6 month temporary contract

About the role

Join the award‑winning QEII Centre in Westminster as a Venue Health & Safety Adviser. You will support a busy live‑events environment, ensuring the safety of staff, contractors and visitors across a range of high‑profile conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health and safety expertise for building infrastructure, contractor management and fire safety.
• Lead incident investigations and manage water‑hygiene compliance.
• Collaborate with operational teams to assess risk, enforce compliance and support safe event delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date health and safety documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Proactive H&S professional with experience in complex operational or public‑facing environments.
• Ability to balance regulatory compliance with a high level of customer service.
• IOSH membership is essential; NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable.
