Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team covering Waltham Forest, Welwyn and Hatfield. You will work closely with operational teams, site managers and project stakeholders to support the delivery of our HSEQ Management System (iMS) and help maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify hazards, assess risks and drive continuous improvement across projects.
• Provide practical HSEQ guidance to operational teams and ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and industry best practice.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ Management System (iMS).
• Champion a positive safety culture and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Assist with internal audits, ISO standard alignment and CDM regulation compliance.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in construction, property services, maintenance, housing or a similar operational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility and influence others.
• Motivation to improve standards in a busy operational environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations.
• Experience with internal auditing.
