Health Surveillance Nurse

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Health Surveillance Nurse to join an Occupational Health team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is part‑time, covering two days per week on‑site in Birmingham, and offers the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a range of health surveillance activities in line with occupational health standards.
- Perform audiometry and spirometry testing for employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Provide professional service to staff attending health surveillance appointments.
- Collaborate with the wider Occupational Health team to support workplace health and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Previous experience in an occupational health setting.
- Current competency in audiometry and spirometry.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while upholding high clinical standards.
