HGV Class 1 Driver – Parcel Distribution (Plymouth)

About the role

Magnus Search is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a leading parcel and mail distribution network in Plymouth. The role offers flexible shift patterns and competitive hourly pay, making it ideal for drivers who value consistency and variety in their work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Transport parcels between distribution hubs and delivery centres.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, securely, and on time.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate driver and vehicle records.
• Communicate effectively with transport, dispatch, and warehouse teams.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 24 months.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check or update service check.
