HGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time, £14/hr, Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Manchester team on a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule. You will be responsible for delivering goods to stores, working 12‑hour days with overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a modern HGV fleet to deliver products to retail locations across the region.
• Maintain a 12‑hour daily delivery schedule, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic logs using a Digi‑Tacho device.
• Adhere to health, safety and road‑traffic regulations at all times.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence with a CPC card.
• Digi‑Tacho card.
• No more than six current penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT99) with convictions in the past five years.
• At least 12 months driving experience (new licence holders will also be considered).
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Class 2 (C) licence operation.
• CPC certification.
• Digi‑Tacho usage.
