HGV Driver Class 2 – Exeter

About the role

BSS, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is hiring a Class 2 HGV driver in Exeter, Devon. You will transport stock mainly of pipeline and heating products from the branches to customers, with multi-drop deliveries and regular returns to the branch to reload. Larger vehicles are equipped with HIABs (lorry-mounted cranes), and HIAB training is fully funded by the branch. New drivers are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Safely and professionally deliver stock from branches to customers
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries with regular returns to the branch to reload
• Drive larger vehicles fitted with HIABs, using the equipment provided

Required profile

• Class 2 driving licence with up-to-date CPC records and recent HGV driving experience
• Confidence in building new relationships and maintaining strong customer connections
• Safety-focused approach and passion for excellent customer service
• Team mentality and ambition
