About the role
Join Travis Perkins as a Class 2 HGV driver delivering building materials from the branch to local customers in Leicester. Enjoy sociable hours with no evenings or overnights and receive full HIAB training.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload the vehicle using a HIAB, ensuring loads are secure and legal.
- Make approximately 14 customer drops per day, maintaining professional conduct on the road.
- Return to the branch to reload as required and keep accurate delivery records.
Required profile
- Valid Class 2 driving licence and up‑to‑date CPC record.
- Category B licence held for at least 12 months.
- Customer‑focused attitude with strong safety awareness.
Required skills
- Class 2 HGV operation
- HIAB handling (training provided)
- CPC compliance
