About the role
We are seeking an ambitious Occupational Therapist to lead and develop OT provision at Cygnet Afon Las, a brand‑new specialist neurocognitive service in Corwen, Wales. The role offers structured support, specialist supervision and the opportunity to establish a service from the outset, working with men who have complex and enduring neurocognitive needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop occupational therapy provision as part of an interdisciplinary neuropsychiatry team.
- Provide specialist assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and longer‑term support for individuals with acquired brain injury, dementia or other neurodegenerative conditions.
- Supervise the Occupational Therapy Assistant and ensure high‑quality clinical practice.
Required profile
- Registered Occupational Therapist with experience at Band 7 level or a strong Band 6 ready to progress.
- Experience or strong interest in neurorehabilitation, neurocognitive or neuropsychiatric services.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and reference verification.
