Home Furnishings Installer (John Lewis Partner Fitter)

About the role

As a John Lewis Partner Fitter, you will fit a range of premium window dressings such as curtains, blinds, shutters, poles and tracks to the 'Right Fit First Time' standard, combining hands-on skill with a customer-focused approach. You will act as a brand ambassador for the John Lewis brand in customers' homes. The role covers the Peter Jones and Kingston catchments, so you must be able to collect goods from these areas. Pay is £30,500 to £43,300 per year, with night premium of £4.25 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00.

Key responsibilities

• Fitting home furnishing products and window dressings safely and accurately to the 'Right Fit First Time' standard.
• Providing a professional customer experience by demonstrating products, giving expert advice and making tailored recommendations.
• Managing your daily appointment schedule so visits are smooth and punctual.
• Driving safely between customer homes, service buildings and branches in a business vehicle, picking up goods from designated collection points.
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through occasional branch visits.

Required profile

• Age 18 or over and a full, clean driving licence.
• Ability to collect goods from the Peter Jones and Kingston catchments.
• Desirable: proven sales experience, experience using DIY tools, understanding of window dressings and experience fitting home furnishing products.

• Communication skills and confidence working independently.
