Home Manager – Residential Care Home (West Cumbria)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a stable nursing, dementia and residential care home in West Cumbria. This permanent position offers the chance to shape a person‑centred service with strong senior support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain operational performance, manage budgets and occupancy levels.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team, fostering a positive environment for residents, families and staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold CQC quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a care home or serving as a Deputy Manager ready for promotion.
• Background in nursing or residential elderly care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, people‑management and commercial awareness.
• Passion for delivering outstanding, person‑centred care.
