About the role

Are you ready to take your skills on the road? As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers you will bring eye‑care directly to patients who cannot visit a store, providing a varied and community‑focused service across the Kent region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide eye‑care services to patients in their homes across the Kent region.
• Dispense lenses at all levels and operate optical dispensing equipment.
• Travel to a variety of locations and testing environments, ensuring timely service delivery.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of current or previous optical experience with confidence in lens dispensing.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal car on a full‑time basis.

Required skills

• Lens dispensing proficiency.
• Use of optical dispensing systems and related software.
• Operation of tablets or laptops for patient records and testing.
