About the role
Vacherin is seeking a Hospitality Operations Manager to lead the catering operation at its B&I site in Canary Wharf. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and service while ensuring profitability and compliance with all regulations. The role offers a balanced Monday‑Friday schedule, allowing you to enjoy both professional growth and personal time.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and control all aspects of the hospitality catering operation in line with strategic growth plans.
- Manage budgets, forecast performance, and ensure compliance with client, company and statutory regulations.
- Maintain health, safety, hygiene and fire standards at all times.
- Lead, train and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop new business opportunities and adapt the offering to maximise revenue.
- Prepare financial and operational performance reports as required.
- Ensure staff adhere to dress code, health and wellbeing policies, and company procedures.
- Oversee food production to meet quality standards and current culinary trends.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing hospitality or catering operations, preferably in a corporate or office setting.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, hygiene and fire regulations.
- Ability to work within budgetary constraints and drive profitability.
- Excellent leadership and team‑development skills.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to service improvement.
