Housekeeper & Laundry Assistant

About the Role

Join Friends of the Elderly, a dedicated non-profit charity with over 120 years of experience in elderly care. We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to join our Friends Place team in Calcot, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and hygienic environment for our residents in our premium care facility.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the residential home (vacuuming, polishing furniture, dusting chairs, etc.).
• Manage the laundry service to ensure impeccable hygiene for all residents' clothing and linens.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks including emptying bins and maintaining common areas.
• Strictly adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment.

Candidate Profile

• No prior experience or specific diploma required; full training will be provided.
• Resilient and capable of working effectively within a team.
• Autonomous and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic numeracy skills and ability to use digital tools for online training.
• Good level of English communication.
