Housekeeper – Part‑time (Tilford Care Home)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Housekeeper to join the team at Tilford Care Home in Farnham. You will help create a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring communal areas and private rooms are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all communal areas tidy, clean and safe for residents, visitors and staff.
• Clean and maintain residents’ rooms – dusting, polishing, vacuuming and changing linens, using appropriate safety signage.
• Collaborate with the management team to uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Provide a friendly presence, offering a smile or brief conversation to residents as part of daily duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Availability for 24 hours per week, including alternative weekends.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (the care home is in a remote location with no public transport).
