Housekeeper / Porter (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Housekeeper/Porter to join our prestigious corporate environment on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. The role combines cleaning, facilities support and porterage duties, offering a varied and active workday.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional office environment, including workspaces, communal areas, kitchens, meeting rooms and washrooms.
• Manage waste, recycling and general housekeeping tasks.
• Replenish kitchen and hospitality supplies such as glasses, mugs and consumables.
• Perform spot cleaning of carpets and flooring.
• Set up, reset and reconfigure meeting rooms, training rooms and event spaces.
• Undertake porterage duties: move furniture, desks, chairs, equipment and other workplace resources.
• Support office moves, desk relocations and workspace reconfigurations.
• Assist with event set‑ups and breakdowns, including moving equipment and furniture.
• Support catering and facilities teams during meetings and corporate events.
• Monitor standards across reception, meeting suites and executive spaces, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond professionally to workplace queries.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, porterage or facilities support.
• Positive, professional and customer‑focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and flexible to support a variety of tasks.
• Physically fit for regular manual handling, heavy lifting and furniture moves.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
