Housekeeper – Seaside Inn

About the role

Join the close‑knit team at The Ship Inn, a traditional seaside inn perched on the water’s edge in Mousehole, Cornwall. As a Housekeeper you will welcome guests, ensure rooms are immaculate, and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms and public areas to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Refresh linens, replenish amenities, and report any maintenance issues.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests, answering queries and delivering a friendly welcome.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and ensure proper storage.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to support seamless operations.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn on the job if no prior housekeeping experience.
