Housekeeping Supervisor – Live‑In Accommodation

About the role

Join De Vere Tortworth Court, a Grade II listed 201‑bedroom hotel in the South West, as a Housekeeping Supervisor with live‑in accommodation. You will ensure rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and create memorable experiences for guests while leading a dedicated housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms daily, promptly addressing any housekeeping issues to maintain guest comfort.
• Lead by example, fostering a supportive culture and building genuine relationships with team members.
• Manage administrative duties such as stock orders, laundry counts and rota planning to keep the department running smoothly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role; hotel housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively.
