Housing and Wellbeing Assistant

About the role
You will join a dedicated team responsible for managing high‑quality accommodation and related services. As the first point of contact for residents, you will handle enquiries by phone, email or in person while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assistance and guidance to customers, helping them meet the terms of their occupancy agreement.
- Record and respond to customer feedback, complaints and compliments.
- Address safeguarding concerns promptly in line with client procedures.
- Maintain building security, conduct health‑and‑safety inspections and report communal repairs.
- Follow financial procedures, handling all monies received and held.
- Oversee communal and void cleaning together with the wider team.
Required profile
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Evidence of IT skills.
- Experience in a busy, customer‑facing front‑line role.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a courteous, helpful manner.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
