Housing Support Worker – Ealing & Brent

About the role

We are recruiting a Housing Support Worker to join a growing service supporting vulnerable adults across Ealing and Brent. The role involves helping residents maintain their tenancies, develop independent living skills and access health, benefits and social care services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 residents across three properties.
• Conduct needs, risk and tenancy sustainment assessments and develop support plans.
• Deliver tenancy‑related support, budgeting, cooking and community engagement assistance.
• Facilitate access to benefits, healthcare, mental health, substance misuse and social care services.
• Carry out regular key‑working sessions, reviews and welfare checks.
• Monitor wellbeing, respond to safeguarding concerns and maintain accurate case notes.
• Ensure properties meet health and safety standards and liaise with local authorities and external agencies.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting vulnerable adults in supported housing, supported living, homelessness or housing support services.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, support plans and tenancy sustainment work.
• Good understanding of homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and complex needs.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
