HR Advisor (18‑month Fixed‑Term Contract)

About the role

We are recruiting an HR Advisor on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract for a purpose‑driven organisation committed to sustainability and long‑term impact. The role offers a hands‑on opportunity to support managers and employees across the business, working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, practical HR advice and guidance to managers on all operational matters.
• Support the full HR life‑cycle for assigned areas, including recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
• Lead or support employee‑relations cases, preparing clear documentation for risk mitigation.
• Assist managers in applying HR policies consistently and confidently.
• Support vacancy management and ensure a smooth, compliant candidate experience.
• Deliver training and briefings on HR best practice for managers.
• Contribute to HR‑led projects such as organisational change, service improvement and job evaluation.
• Help review, update and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee engagement survey delivery, analysis and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer managing end‑to‑end employee‑relations cases.
• Qualification to CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Own a car and hold a clean driving licence for regular site visits (approximately 3‑4 trips per month).
