HR Advisor – Employee Relations (Hybrid, Basingstoke)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy Employee Relations team on a temporary basis. You will partner with managers to resolve complex people matters, support organisational change and ensure compliance with legislation and policy across a large organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Providing expert Employee Relations advice and guidance to managers across the organisation.
• Managing a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
• Coaching and developing managers to confidently handle Employee Relations issues.
• Supporting organisational change such as restructures, redeployment, redundancy, outplacement and TUPE transfers.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice.
• Analysing management information and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Preparing accurate case documentation and maintaining confidential records.
• Collaborating with HR Business Partners and the wider People team on key initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function.

Required profile

• CIPD qualified or currently working towards a CIPD qualification.
• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or Employee Relations Advisor.
• Demonstrable experience managing Employee Relations casework.
