HR Advisor – Full‑time, £35k, Worthing

About the role

We're looking for a proactive and people‑focused HR Advisor to join a growing and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior‑to‑mid‑level professional to develop a varied, hands‑on HR career, working closely with managers and employees across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing expert, legally compliant advice on all people matters.
• Support the Talent Acquisition Partner with recruitment activities and advise on best practice in selection.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments and other HR documentation accurately and promptly.
• Monitor sickness absence, identify trends and guide managers on effective absence management.
• Identify learning and development needs through discussions and workforce planning.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance the People function.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 3 qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
