HR Advisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the TJX contract team in Crewe. Working Monday to Friday, you will partner closely with operational leaders and the Contract HR Manager to deliver a high‑quality people service across a multi‑site logistics operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for operational and management roles, helping attract and retain talent in a fast‑paced environment.
• Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, organisational change, shift pattern reviews and business initiatives.
• Deliver coaching and training to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives and deputise for the Contract HR Manager when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR professional within a logistics or similar fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to build strong relationships with operational leaders, customers and stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of employee relations, recruitment and people development processes.
