HR Business Partner

About the role

We are partnering with a leading client to find an experienced HR Business Partner for their growing HR team in London. This role blends strategic influence with hands‑on HR delivery, supporting senior leaders to achieve commercial objectives while fostering a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with managers and senior leaders, providing expert HR guidance aligned with business goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
• Coach managers to enhance leadership capability and confidence in people management.
• Partner on organisational change projects, restructures and workforce planning initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to people processes, ensuring consistent application of HR policies.
• Use HR data and workforce insights to support decision‑making and highlight trends.
• Support talent management activities, including succession planning, employee development and retention strategies.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR advisory role.
• Strong background in employee relations and handling complex HR cases.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver commercially focused solutions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Comfortable working both strategically and on day‑to‑day HR activities.
