HR Business Partner – Multi‑Site Organisation

About the role

Summit HR is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work across multiple sites in Manchester and the wider North West region. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using data‑driven insights to shape people strategies that drive performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide expert advice on all people‑related matters and support achievement of business objectives.
• Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructures, transitions and workforce planning.
• Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Coach and develop managers to improve capability, engagement and performance.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, including high‑risk or sensitive issues.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of HR policies, frameworks and people initiatives.
• Deliver training and guidance to enhance leadership capability and consistency in people management.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships and provide constructive challenge where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a multi‑site or operational environment.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
• Comfortable working at pace, balancing strategic input with hands‑on delivery.
• Willingness to travel between sites and maintain a visible presence.
