HR Business Partner – Part‑time (30 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Milton Keynes team on a part‑time, temporary basis. The role will work hybrid (minimum one day in the office) and will focus on aligning people strategy with business objectives, supporting senior leaders and line managers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement people plans that support organisational goals.
• Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and advise on continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance management, conduct, absence, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Lead or advise on complex employee‑relations cases, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives and develop leadership capability.
• Assist with recruitment, selection, talent pipelines and succession planning.
• Lead or support change projects such as restructures, new function set‑up and transformation initiatives.
• Provide monthly payroll support and handle HR administration tasks as needed, including TUPE transfer assistance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering, employee relations and talent management.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver HR projects.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
