HR Business Partner – Part‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time HR Business Partner to join our team in Milton Keynes on a temporary two‑month assignment. Working hybrid with at least one day in the office, you will partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives and help drive a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic partnering with senior leadership to shape people plans and use data insights for decision‑making.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance, conduct, absence, grievances and disciplinary processes; lead complex employee‑relations cases.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and leadership development.
• Assist with recruitment, talent pipelines, succession planning and workforce forecasting.
• Lead or support change projects such as restructures, new function set‑ups and transformation programmes.
• Help with monthly payroll processing, HR administration tasks and TUPE transfer activities under guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or a similar HR advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee‑relations best practices.
• Ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
• Experience handling payroll support and HR administrative duties.
• Comfortable working on change initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
