HR Director

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic HR Director to lead our Human Resources function and drive strategic people initiatives that support the organisation’s objectives. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide expert HR advice to senior leaders, managers and staff, ensuring fair employment practices and strong employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 3‑year HR strategy aligned with corporate governance and business goals.
• Lead and develop the HR team to deliver responsive, professional HR services.
• Oversee policy development, monitor employment law changes and ensure best practice across the organisation.
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion through networks, positive‑action initiatives and awareness programmes.
• Manage reward and benefits, including job evaluation, pay benchmarking and benefits reviews.
• Design recruitment, talent and succession strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Drive learning and development programmes, career frameworks and in‑house training.
• Control HR budgets, produce annual reports and provide accurate HR metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, strategic HR management and corporate governance.
• Demonstrated expertise in equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to lead organisational change and deliver innovative HR solutions.
