Director of People & Culture (UK, Ireland & Europe)

About the role

This senior leadership position will shape the People & Culture strategy for a growing international hospitality group operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will partner with hotel leaders to drive talent, leadership development and employee engagement while supporting ambitious commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s People & Culture strategy across multiple countries.
• Partner with senior executives and hotel leadership to strengthen organisational capability and leadership effectiveness.
• Lead talent management, succession planning and leadership development programmes.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and employer branding across the portfolio.
• Support organisational change, workforce planning and business transformation projects.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, compliance and people governance across jurisdictions.
• Coach hotel leaders to build high‑performing cultures and ensure consistent People & Culture frameworks while respecting local market needs.

Required profile

• Significant senior HR/People & Culture leadership experience within hospitality.
• Proven track record supporting multiple locations across several countries.
• Strong background in leadership development, talent management and succession planning.
• Excellent organisational development and employee engagement experience.
• Deep knowledge of employee relations and commercial business partnering.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organisational change.
• Willingness to travel regularly across a European portfolio.
• Experience in boutique, lifestyle, luxury or international hospitality is highly advantageous.
