HR Director

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international financial services organisation for an experienced HR Director. Reporting to the UK Chief Executive and dotted‑line to the Global HR Director, you will shape people strategy across multiple regions, aligning global priorities with local business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated HR strategy that balances global consistency with local nuances.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior leaders, supporting organisational transformation and sustainable growth.
• Embed the people agenda into leadership discussions using data‑driven insights.
• Coach senior leaders to enhance team dynamics and organisational culture.
• Lead and develop regional HR teams to ensure high performance and seamless execution of initiatives.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent development, reward strategies, inclusion efforts and organisational design.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably in multinational organisations.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices.
• Ability to balance global HR consistency with local market requirements.
• Experience managing change and complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
