HR & Employment Law Meeting Lead

About the role

The position involves delivering expert HR and employment law services virtually via Microsoft Teams, supporting a large portfolio of business owners with formal meetings, investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters. You will act impartially to ensure compliance, fairness and legally sound outcomes for both employers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and chair client‑employee meetings, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals.
• Provide mediation, conciliation and other employment relations services as required.
• Advise clients on their legal position and risk, maintaining impartiality.
• Produce high‑quality written reports and outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Meet hearing targets set by management and contribute to repeat‑business objectives.

Required profile

• Degree level education in HR, law or a related discipline, or substantial professional experience.
• Background in HR management, consultancy or employment law.
• Professional presentation and ability to build rapport with stressed or upset individuals.
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
