HSEQ Advisor – Manufacturing/Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality systems across two engineering sites in Wales and London. The role will be based near Neath, with regular travel to the South London site.

Key responsibilities

• Support ISO 45001 health & safety systems, conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with UK legislation.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions and deliver inductions, training and toolbox talks.
• Support ISO 9001 quality systems, perform internal audits, assist with external audits and manage non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection and calibration records.
• Support ISO 14001 environmental systems, monitor waste handling, sustainability initiatives and ensure environmental compliance.
• Travel between the Wales and London sites (including 3‑4 consecutive days per month in London) and standardise procedures across both locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Strong understanding of UK health & safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Good IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: NEBOSH qualification or membership with a relevant H&S body.
