HSQE Manager – Health, Safety, Quality & Environment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSQE Manager to lead health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across a small group of companies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining ISO‑accredited management systems while driving continuous improvement and fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 17025 frameworks.
• Produce and manage a compliance monitoring plan to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Plan, conduct and report on internal and external audits.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action programmes.
• Analyse legislation and industry standards to create and update policies and procedures.
• Provide senior leadership with regular management reports and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSQE, health and safety, quality or environmental management.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
