Human Resources Advisor

About the role

The Human Resources Advisor will support the HR Manager and business leaders at Bosch Group’s HydraForce facility in Birmingham. This role combines strategic insight, operational HR delivery, and employee‑relations expertise to help drive organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR advice on workforce trends, employee engagement and people‑related risks.
• Partner with managers to align HR initiatives with operational and commercial goals.
• Analyse HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Support organisational change projects, including restructures and workforce planning.
• Deliver day‑to‑day HR operations, maintain HR systems, policies and produce management reports.
• Ensure HR policies comply with current UK employment legislation.
• Offer expert guidance on employee‑relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, flexible working and wellbeing.
• Assist managers throughout investigations, hearings and case management to achieve fair outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• CIPD qualification – Level 5 minimum (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience in HR Operations or HR Advisory, including payroll.
• Background in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee‑relations issues with sound judgement.
• Experience analysing HR data and producing actionable insights.
