Humanities Teacher – Flexible Supply Work in Kent

About the role

We are seeking qualified English, RE and Humanities teachers to provide flexible, short‑term supply cover across secondary schools in Kent. The role involves delivering curriculum‑aligned lessons, supporting catch‑up interventions and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils of various key stages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day teaching cover in English, Religious Education, History or Humanities.
• Deliver lesson plans that meet the school’s curriculum and assessment standards.
• Support pupils needing catch‑up or intervention work.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different key stages and student abilities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in English, RE, History or Humanities.
• Reliable and flexible, able to start on short notice.
• Comfortable teaching across multiple key stages.
• Willing to work on a temporary, supply basis.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum for English, RE, History or Humanities.
• Effective lesson delivery and classroom management.
