About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join secondary schools across Kent and South East London. The role involves delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Education and Spanish to students aged 11‑16. The position may start in September with ongoing opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned Humanities lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and professional development.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities related to humanities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing.
• Ability to work within high‑performing, inclusive school settings.
