Hybrid Nurse Functional Assessor – £39,500

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts their daily life. The position offers a blend of challenging case work and supportive training, with flexible full‑time, part‑time or hybrid options.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effect of physical, mental health and chronic pain conditions on customers’ everyday activities.
• Produce detailed written reports using computer software.
• Participate in a tailored training programme and receive ongoing mentorship.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support complex cases.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing, within or outside the NHS.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to produce detailed reports.
