Hygiene Team Member - 4 on 4 off Nights

About the role

Join the Hygiene Team at Bigham’s production kitchen in Dulcote, Wells, and help keep a high‑volume food operation clean, safe and fully compliant. Working a 4‑night on, 4‑night off pattern, you will be a key part of the night shift ensuring that all production areas meet the highest hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise equipment, surfaces and production areas using the correct chemicals and techniques.
• Follow food safety regulations and standards such as HACCP to maintain compliance.
• Identify and address potential hygiene risks or hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with production teams and supervisors, reporting concerns clearly.
• Investigate hygiene‑related issues, troubleshoot equipment and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
• Commitment to safety and high standards of care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on night shifts.
• Problem‑solving mindset for hygiene‑related challenges.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge (HACCP) – training provided.
• Strong sanitisation techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.
