ICU Nurse Fellowship

About the role

Cleveland Clinic London is offering a six‑month ICU Nurse Fellowship to help address the shortage of critical care nurses in the United Kingdom. The programme combines classroom learning with direct patient care in a high‑acuity ICU environment.

Key responsibilities

• Expand skills and knowledge in critical care practice to provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Prioritise nursing care, recognise deterioration and escalate to the clinical team immediately.
• Evaluate, update and revise the plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• NMC‑registered Adult Nurse (essential).
• Willingness to undertake relevant post‑registration courses (essential).
• Suitable hospital‑based nursing experience.
