Identity & Access Management Operations Analyst (VP level)

About the role

This 12‑month contract role supports a leading financial services organisation in London, providing operational leadership for Identity & Access Management (IAM) across EMEA. The analyst will ensure accurate, timely processing of access requests while guiding a team of IAM administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day IAM operational activities across EMEA, meeting service expectations.
• Review and resolve complex, high‑risk access requests and escalations.
• Monitor queues, workload ageing and service performance, addressing bottlenecks.
• Support access governance, including periodic access reviews and control processes.
• Produce operational metrics and management information for continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance IAM procedures, work instructions and documentation.
• Assist audit, compliance and control assurance activities with operational evidence.
• Collaborate with technology teams, application owners and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in IAM operations or a related security discipline.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate high‑volume request‑processing teams.
• Strong understanding of joiner, mover and leaver processes, including third‑party identity lifecycle management.
• Experience producing operational management information and communicating risks to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and workload management skills.
