Identity Operations Engineer – Okta

About the role

We are seeking an Identity Operations Engineer to manage day‑to‑day operations of Okta and support Microsoft Entra ID for a rapidly growing digital workforce. The role will serve approximately 14,000 active users and 385 Okta applications, ensuring smooth access provisioning, lifecycle management and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the daily Okta operations queue – user lifecycle, group membership, app assignments and tier‑2 troubleshooting.
• Execute scheduled access reviews and group membership audits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SCIM provisioning to downstream applications.
• Administer Entra (Azure AD) groups, both static and dynamic.
• Handle Conditional Access policy exceptions (not policy design).
• Operate Self‑Service Password Reset processes.
• Process Jira tickets with strict SLA discipline.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of production Okta administration experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OIDC and SCIM protocols.
• Experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for bulk operations and reporting.
• Ability to diagnose failed app integrations, read logs and recommend fixes.
