IFA Administrator – Financial Planning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join a well‑established financial planning practice in Altrincham. You will be the primary point of contact for advisers, clients and product providers, ensuring smooth processing of new investment, pension and protection business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end processing of new business applications via St. James's Place electronic systems.
• Monitor and progress applications, liaising with providers to obtain updates and resolve outstanding requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems and prepare meeting packs for advisers.
• Provide timely updates to clients and advisers throughout the application lifecycle.
• Support day‑to‑day office administration, including ordering supplies and improving processes.
• Ensure all documentation complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IFA or financial services administrator.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a pipeline of cases.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with advisers, clients and providers.
