Immigration & Family Law Paralegal

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our established team in Stratford, supporting solicitors with immigration and family law matters. This full‑time, office‑based position offers the chance to develop legal expertise in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with a mixed caseload of immigration and family law, preparing applications, appeals and supporting documentation.
• Draft legal documents, witness statements, correspondence and compile court bundles.
• Liaise with clients, courts, the Home Office, barristers and other authorities to ensure smooth case progression.
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy formulation.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage client files to meet deadlines.
• Prepare briefing materials and documents for hearings and tribunals.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a paralegal with exposure to immigration and family law.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Law degree or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications or courses in immigration or family law are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal case management systems.
