Import Demand Planner

About the role

Rexel is seeking an Import Demand Planner to join its Procurement & Inventory team. You will forecast demand for imported goods, translate forecasts into import plans and ensure product availability while balancing inventory levels, long lead times and international supply constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and maintain demand forecasts for imported goods.
• Monitor demand trends, identify inventory risks and highlight significant changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align forecasts with import schedules and commercial objectives.
• Identify potential stock risks, work with stakeholders to mitigate supply issues and support planning cycles.
• Process, analyse and track forecasts received from partners and bottlers.
• Monitor slow‑moving and obsolete finished‑goods risks, reporting and following up with relevant teams.
• Communicate demand changes to optimise finished‑goods and kit inventory across the UK network.
• Support the development and implementation of improved forecasting and demand‑planning systems.
• Work closely with the New Product Development team to support launch plans and timelines.
