In-House Legal Counsel – Private Client (Wills Supervision)

About the role

We are seeking an In‑House Legal Counsel to lead our private client supervision team. The role focuses on estate‑planning matters such as wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney, with no billable targets, offering a strong work‑life balance in a forward‑thinking legal business.

Key responsibilities

• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts and LPA documents to ensure legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide feedback and technical support to solicitors and other team members throughout case progression.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
• Support the development of service standards and promote best practices across the estate‑planning team.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, will drafting and tax considerations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What we offer

• Flexible working hours – part‑time (22.5 h) or full‑time (37.5 h).
