Inclusion Supervisor (Behaviour)

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Supervisor to lead its Behaviour/Reset Room provision. You will support pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH, and SEND needs, helping them reflect on incidents and re‑engage with learning. This permanent, term‑time position starts in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the Behaviour/Reset Room, ensuring a calm, structured environment.
• Facilitate reflective sessions for students to understand behaviour incidents and make positive choices.
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to improve behaviour, emotional regulation, and academic engagement.
• Deliver tailored academic support to maintain learning continuity.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and progress.
• Collaborate closely with pastoral, SEND, and teaching staff.

Required profile

• Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, pastoral staff, or similar role in secondary education or alternative provision.
• Background in SEMH, SEND, or behaviour support.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to maintain confidentiality.
