About the role

Join a respected independent financial planning firm near Watford as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You will inherit a ready‑made client bank of around 200 loyal clients with approximately £40 million in assets under management, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality advice rather than prospecting for new leads.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, independent financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection.
• Manage and develop the inherited client portfolio, conducting annual reviews and ongoing planning meetings.
• Identify additional planning opportunities and refer clients to specialist services where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated paraplanning and administration team to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice complies with FCA and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Independent Financial Adviser within an IFA or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow existing client relationships.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compliant financial advice.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive financial reviews and develop tailored advice.
