Indirect Category Buyer – Procurement

About the role

The Indirect Category Buyer will support Soho House Group’s indirect spend across operational variables and group functions. Initially focused on UK sites, the role will expand to European, Asian and North American projects, handling sourcing, supplier negotiation, vendor setup and invoice management.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new vendors, products and pricing in the purchasing system and resolve daily queries from sites and suppliers.
• Provide detailed management information, spend analytics and monitor supplier invoice/payment issues.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Finance and Procurement to optimise supplier performance and enforce contracted supplier use.
• Lead efficiency initiatives, conduct market reviews, identify new vendors and perform supplier due‑diligence.
• Maintain supplier data quality, track compliance and support contract reviews and drafting.
• Develop dashboards, conduct trend analysis on costs, volumes and consumption, and drive continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required profile

• Experience in indirect procurement, category management or supplier management.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with spend data.
• Proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
