Industrial Door Engineer – South East England

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join a growing team serving the South East England region. The role involves on‑site installation, service, repair and maintenance of a wide range of industrial door systems for multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and fault‑find industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors and fire doors.
• Maintain loading bay equipment, dock levellers and manual doors across various customer locations.
• Work with a variety of manufacturers’ products, ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
• Support team members and share knowledge where required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• At least 3 years’ experience in the industrial door sector is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to train across single or multiple door disciplines.
• Positive attitude, self‑motivation and reliability.

Required skills

• Installation, service, repair, fault‑finding and maintenance of industrial doors.
• Knowledge of roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors, loading bay equipment, dock levellers, manual and fire doors.
• Familiarity with a range of manufacturers.
• Relevant certifications such as IPAF, CSCS/ECS, SPA Passport, PASMA or City & Guilds (desirable).
